💕A Valentine’s Invitation to Help Our 24/7 Peer Support Hotline

This Valentine’s season, we’re inviting you to show love in one of the most powerful ways possible: by helping us build a lifeline for people who too often feel unseen, unheard, or alone.

We are working to launch a free, confidential, compassionate, 24/7 peer support hotline serving the chronic illness, chronic pain, injury, disability, and neurodivergent communities. A place where someone can reach out and be met with understanding not judgment; care not conditions; and hope right when they need it most.

Here’s the thing: we can’t do it without our community.

Even if you don’t celebrate holidays, we’d really appreciate your support with a post of your own introducing us to your friends, family, followers, and audience.

While our community is committed to helping us launch, it’s our allies who can make a truly powerful impact. Please support this campaign, we all know or love someone living with a health condition. Your introduction helps address the mental health crisis and strengthens our fractured healthcare system.

💘 Our Valentine’s Fundraising Event: How You Can Help

We’re asking you to join us this month, on February 14th or any day that works for you, by using your social media voice to help spread the word.

Here’s how your post makes a real impact:

  • Each follow helps us reach more donors, corporate sponsors, and grant opportunities
  • Each share introduces this future hotline to someone who may one day need it
  • Each donation directly supports Project Build, the creation of the hotline itself

Social media is a powerful tool and when our community speaks, people listen.

We are on Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and LinkedIn, and we’d love your help flooding these platforms with messages of support, hope, and love.

(Also, don’t forget to share this blog post today so everyone gets this invitation to create their own post!)

🧠 What Makes a Strong Fundraising Ask Post?

You don’t need to be a professional fundraiser to make a meaningful impact. A powerful post usually includes three simple elements:

1. Introduce the Cause

Let your audience know what we’re building and who it’s for.

Example:

“I’m supporting the launch of a free, 24/7 peer support hotline for people living with chronic illness, pain, disability, injury, and neurodivergence.”

2. Share Why You Care

Personal connection is everything. This can be one sentence. It can also include an emotional piece of your story, if you’re comfortable with that.

Example:

“I believe this resource is vital because no one should feel alone while navigating health challenges.”

3. Invite Action

Give your audience a clear, gentle next step.

Example:

“If you’re able, donations are needed now to help bring this hotline to life. And even following and sharing makes a difference.”

❤️ Why This Matters Now

Too many people living with chronic conditions feel isolated in moments that matter most. A peer support hotline doesn’t just offer conversation – it offers connection, dignity, and hope.

With your help, we can show funders, partners, and the world just how much this community believes in making compassionate support accessible to all.

Thank you for using your voice.

Thank you for showing love in action.

And thank you for helping build something that will change lives.
