Thank you for your interest in helping the Chronic Illness Hotline!
We need the collective support of our community and allies to launch our peer support line.
Our first fundraising goal is $50,000 which will allow us to:
- Add a volunteer coordinator to grow our volunteer team
- Hire a fundraising consultant to grow and foster our donor network
- Onboard a grant write whose expertise will help to maximize funds
In order to fully support our community with a 24/7 hotline, secure data platform, crisis team, and create part-time, flexible employment of our Compassion Counselors, it is critical that we raise a considerable amount. Our community deserve this fully functioning hotline that other communities already have.
How You Can Help
We appreciate your interest in volunteering. Our main focus right now is fundraising for our launch. You can help by:
- Spreading the word: We would love for you to make weekly posts of your own sharing why you support our mission. Examples of different formats: photo captions, reels, TikTok’s, blog posts, lives, stories, and so on.
- Follow our social media accounts: Please like our posts, comment to help the algorithm, and share/repost to amplify our reach. Also, encourage others to do the same.
- Introduce our mission: Personalizing a message to those you think will support us can make a huge difference. Utilize your direct messaging and in person conversations to connect us with more supporters.
- Ask for donations: This is the most important step. Personal requests are more likely to get engagement. Encourage others to become a recurring monthly donor. You make the difference in getting us closer to a successful launch.
Thank you again for supporting our mission. Each of the above actions shows the desire for our vital services. Without our community’s support, we can miss out on grant selections and corporate donations. Every follow, like, and share truly helps make a difference.
